東北大學始建于1923年4月。1928年8月著名愛國將領張學良將軍兼任校長。是一所歷史悠久具有愛國主義光榮傳統(tǒng)的教育部直屬多科性國家重點大學。
東北大學大連藝術學院是經教育部批準成立的東北大學獨立學院。學院坐落在依山傍海、氣候宜人、環(huán)境優(yōu)美、交通便利的中國最具開放色彩的大連經濟技術開發(fā)區(qū)。學院占地面積10萬平方米，建筑面積13萬平方米。學院下設音樂系、藝術設計系、美術系、表演藝術系、國際商務系、基礎部，是一所以藝術教育為主，兼容文學、管理學部分專業(yè)的藝術院！，F有來自全國17個省份的在校學生約3000人。學院擁有國內藝術院校一流的教學設施和良好專業(yè)藝術教學實踐場地。學院師資力量配備扎實，具有專業(yè)能力強且有豐富教學經驗老中青相結合的師資隊伍。教學質量在得到充分保證的前提下，正穩(wěn)步提升。寬敞的學生宿舍、兩個可供4000人同時就餐的學生食堂及周到的社會化服務，為學生的日常生活提供了可靠的保障。

About College
Northeastern University (NEU) was established in April of 1923, the outstanding patriot General Zhang Xueliang had ever been its rector since August of 1928. Northeastern University is a national key multi-disciplinary university with long history and patriotism heritage, affiliated with Ministry of Education.
Dalian Art College of NEU is a self-governing school of NEU, approved by Ministry of Education. The campus is located in Dalian Development Area, the most open region in north of China, which has convenient transportation, pleasant weather and charming sceneries of mountains by sea. The college occupies an area of 100,000 square meters and an architectural area of 130,000 squares meters. DAC is a higher comprehensive art college focusing on art education plus non-art subjects, which includes Music Department, Art Design Department, Fine Art Department, International Business Department and Basic Department. There are 3,000 full-time registered students from 17 provinces all over the country. The college boasts its excellent facilities suitable for professional staff including old and young experienced teachers, which guarantees superior teaching quality. The standard dormitories and two refectories simultaneously catering for 4,000 people as well as all-around logistic system assure the students of convenient lives at campus.
